The Creality K2 Plus Combo is the first 3D printer from Creality to have a multi-colour system! CFS or Creality Filament System allows printing with 4 colours at the same time, which makes Creality one of the most innovative 3D printer brands at the moment.
The CFS system that comes with the Creality K2 Plus Combo allows you to print with 4 colours simultaneously. Additionally, 4 CFS units can be connected to create a 16-colour system.
The CFS system enables automated loading and replacement of filaments. It has a closed design with temperature and humidity control that actively maintains optimal printing conditions and dries the filament. CFS is compatible with the K2 Plus and other future Creality printers. The system improves print quality and efficiency, supports water-soluble materials for easier post-processing, and expands creative and design possibilities.
Creality announced that CFS upgrades will be available for K1 and Ender 3 V3 models in the future.
The implementation of FOC (Field-Oriented Control) closed-loop motor for all motors on the new K2 Plus printer provides better control of motors including the extruder. There are more than 32,000 controlled microsteps with each motor rotation, providing improved torque, superior precision, low error rates and extremely high speeds.
In addition to its performance, this new direct drive also contains a built-in run-out sensor and precise levelling sensor. The gears are made of hardened steel and coated with a DLC coating that protects and ensures stability when printing with more demanding materials, such as Carbon Fiber filament. The hot end heats up to 350°C and has better flow compared to the previous model.
The K2 Plus can reach 600 mm/s and its accelerations reach up to 30,000 mm/s². Thus, this model is currently one of the printers with the fastest acceleration options, which consequently enables extremely fast printing.
Creality has demonstrated its commitment to customer feedback by incorporating a generous 350mm³ printing surface into the new model. This expansive area is impressive for a desktop printer and unlocks new creative possibilities.
