PEEK-Luvocom

The printer must have the performance to meet the PEEK filament and it should be printed with a nozzle temperature of 360 - 400°C.

The heat bed should be set to 120°C and 3D Printer need to have heated chamber. It's also very important to make sure that the printer is placed in a room where there's hardly any draft and temperature fluctuations.

PEEK is best printed on a PEI sheet at a printing speed of 15-30 mm/s.

MAGIGOO-PC

Ideal for: PC, PC/ABS , ABS

MAGIGOO PC is designed to work exclusively with polycarbonate type filaments. This adhesive for professional use makes sure prints stick firmly when the print-bed is hot and that the part is easy to remove once it cools. This unique and innovative mechanism means that no tools are needed to remove prints from the bed. They just pop off when the bed cools down.

The strength and toughness of PC make it an ideal FDM material for the production of functional prototypes as well as end use part, nonetheless the material does present some printing challenges. Virgin PC has a high glass transition temperature (Tg) and thus can be used in high temperature applications. However, having a high Tg can make it very difficult to print using desktop printers, as these are usually not equipped to cater for the high printing temperatures required to print virgin PC. Virgin PC in fact tends to warp considerably when printed at an insufficient bed temperature (<130 ºC), in non-heated enclosed chambers without the use of an appropriate bed adhesive. Certain manufacturers have improved the printability of PC by the use of plasticizers or blending with other materials. Nonetheless when using these solutions some difficulties are still encountered, firstly with adhesion especially on larger parts still can be an issue. In addition to this some bed adhesion sheets have been proposed to avoid the warp encountered in larger prints, but in this case there is a high tendency that the adhesion sheet being used fuses irreversibly to the print. This means that the expensive sheet needs to be removed very often and also incurs a lot of post processing and cleaning. Magigoo PC can be used on glass or multiple other surfaces. Use on other plastic based surfaces, including sheets is recommended to provide strong adhesion and preventing the part to fuse to the sheet.

HOW TO USE IT:
MAGIGOO PC has been designed and tested to work with different PC filament brands. As the composition of each plastic is a little different, the ideal settings for MAGIGOO PC may vary.

• Shake the bottle.
• Apply to the desired area by pressing the nib on the bed (activating the inner valve) and spreading as needed.
• Print according to the filament/printer manufacturers recommendations
• Allow to cool and Remove. The print should pop right off
• Clean - Use a damp cloth to wipe off.

SAFETY:
Using this product with other than PC type filaments might cause over adhesion and damage your build surface.

Tips:
For larger prints a 20 mm brim with multiple layers is recommended.
In cases of excess adhesion, it is recommended to wet print bed with a small amount of water slowly work it below the part, this should make part removal easier.

MAGIGOO-HT

Ideal for: PEI, PEEK, PPS, all HT product over 300 °C

MAGIGOO HT is designed for professional use, to work at high printing temperatures. The part should be relatively easy to remove once it cools and the glue residue should also be easily cleaned off.

High-temperature filaments prove to be challenging materials for FDM printing due to their higher tendency to warp. These materials are generally printed at elevated temperatures owing to their high-temperature properties. MAGIGOO HT is a specialized solution for FDM printing of PEEK filaments which was developed to work at elevated printing temperatures.

HOW TO USE IT:
MAGIGOO HT has been designed and tested to work with build-plate temperature of 150 °C or lower.

Using this product with other than PEEK filaments might cause over adhesion and damage your build surface. Follow the instructions found in the technical data sheet for the best results.

Tips:
For larger prints, a 20 mm brim is recommended.
Magigoo HT was designed for glass surface but also works on high-temperature garolite and other build-surfaces.

ULTEM1010

PEIJet 1010 Ultem (polyetherimide)
- is an Ultem-based material usually used in various fields from the automotive and electronics industry to energy or medical production
- suitable for advanced and skilled makers
- extremely heat-resistant (more than 200°C)
- thermal stable
- flame retardant UL94 and 5VA ratings
- extremely strong, tough and durable
- high flexural modulus

PRINTING SETUP
Nozzle: 360 °C
Heatbed: 120 - 150 °C
▪ Ultem is extremely susceptible to moisture and it can easily absorb water even from the air which can affect the strength of the final print. It is necessary to dry the material preferably at 110 ° C before each use (in case of doubts - the spool is able to handle the heat as well). If you dry it properly, the resulting object may be equivalent in strength to, for example, an aluminum part.
▪ For printing, it is necessary to apply special glue (e.g. MAGIGOO HT) to the mat, for a perfect first layer we recommend to apply the glue in three layers.
▪ It is also necessary to use a printer with a closed chamber heated to at least 70° C.
▪ After it's printed, the material shrinks as the chamber gradually cools and, due to its strength, is able to damage the pad, so be sure to move the printout away as quickly as possible.

ADVANTAGES DISADVANTAGES
Extremely heat-resistant (more than 200°C) Very difficult to print
Self-extinguishing UL94 V0 and 5VA  Susceptible to moisture
High durability The print has high internal stress when cooling - it is capable of damaging the print bed
 High chemical resistance
Amorphous, transparent polymer

CPE

Fiberlogy CPE HT filament is a modern copolyester that stands out for its high mechanical and temperature resistance. As member of the polymers family, which includes PETG and PCTG filament, it surpasses them in terms of resistance to high temperatures, even up to 110°C. Like other related materials, this filament has a high resistance to chemicals and lipids.

It is odourless and BPA, BPS and styrene free and can be used to create food contact parts *. CPE HT will find numerous applications that require resistance to degrading conditions, such as in a dishwasher or in the process of chemical sterilization or UV radiation.

Fiberlogy CPE HT is an attractive alternative to polycarbonate (PC) filaments. Having similar strength parameters as PC filament, it does not share with it the characteristics that make it difficult to use in 3D printing.
* applies to the filament in the Pure TR version

CPE HT properties:

  • temperature resistance up to 110°C
  • no odour
  • BPA, BPS and styrenes-free
  • high mechanical strength
  • comparable to the PC

How to print CPE HT?

The following parameters are only suggested print settings for this material. To ensure the best print quality, it is necessary to choose the appropriate settings for a specific printer and printing conditions.
